Why Choose Kemble’s Field for Puppy and Dog Training?
Whether you’re starting with a young puppy or looking to improve everyday life with an older dog, choosing the right training environment can make all the difference. At Kemble’s Field, we combine experienced instruction, ethical training methods and purpose built facilities to help both dogs and their owners learn with confidence.
Learn from qualified instructors
Our classes are led by ABTC-accredited Instructors who are committed to the highest standards of ethical dog training. You can be confident you’re learning from instructors who are recognised for both their knowledge and their commitment to welfare.
Ethical, reward based training
We use positive reinforcement, choice-based clicker training methods to help dogs understand what is expected of them. Our approach focuses on teaching the behaviours you want to see, building confidence and creating lasting results through clear communication rather than punishment.
Small classes with individual support
Every dog learns at their own pace. Keeping our class sizes small allows our instructors to provide individual guidance throughout each session, helping you overcome challenges and make steady progress.
Practical training for everyday life
Our classes are designed to help you enjoy life with your dog, whether that’s walking calmly on lead, building reliable recall, improving focus around distractions or developing the skills needed for everyday situations. We focus on practical behaviours that make a real difference beyond the training field.
As a Royal Kennel Club Listed Status training organisation we also offer progression through the popular Royal Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme.
Purpose built facilities for year round training
Training takes place at our specialist canine venue near Pershore and Evesham, with access to both indoor and outdoor facilities. Our purpose-built barn with non-slip flooring allows classes to continue comfortably throughout the year, while our outdoor areas, including our pond, provide a variety of environments to help dogs learn in real life situations.
Support throughout your dog’s life
Training doesn’t stop after puppyhood. Whether you have a young puppy, an energetic adolescent, an older dog, a rescue dog or you’re working through behavioural challenges such as reactivity, we’re here to help you continue developing your dog’s skills and confidence.

Puppy and Dog Training FAQs
Where do classes take place?
All of our training takes place at Kemble’s Field near Pershore in Worcestershire. Our purpose built venue includes both indoor and outdoor training facilities, allowing us to continue training throughout the year.
Are classes held indoors or outdoors?
Both. Kemble’s Field has purpose built indoor and outdoor training facilities, allowing us to choose the most appropriate environment for each class and continue training in a wide range of weather conditions.
How do I choose the right class?
If you’re unsure which class is the best fit for you and your dog, browse our available classes or get in touch. We’ll be happy to recommend the most suitable option based on your dog’s age, experience and the behaviours you’d like to work on.
Do I need any previous training experience?
No. Many of our clients are first time dog owners. Our instructors will guide you through each exercise, explain why you’re teaching it and provide practical advice that you can continue using at home.
Do you offer one to one training?
Yes. Alongside our group classes, we also offer one to one training for owners who would prefer individual support or whose dog may benefit from a more tailored approach.
What training methods do you use?
Our instructors use ethical, positive reinforcement based clicker training. We focus on helping dogs understand what is expected of them through clear communication, structured learning and rewarding the behaviours we want to see. Our aim is to build confident dogs and knowledgeable owners who enjoy learning together.
Do you only train puppies?
No. We offer training for puppies, adolescent dogs and adult dogs. Whether you’re starting from the beginning or looking to improve specific behaviours, we’ll help you find the right class or one to one training for your needs.
What age should my puppy start training?
Training can begin as soon as your puppy has settled into their new home. Early training focuses on building confidence, developing good habits and helping your puppy learn how to interact with the world around them. We offer classes that provide a structured introduction to training while supporting both puppies and their owners through those important early months.
Is my dog too old to start training?
Not at all. Dogs of any age can learn new skills. Whether you’ve recently adopted an older dog or simply want to improve everyday behaviour, our training is designed to help dogs and owners build confidence and strengthen their relationship, regardless of age.
Are your classes suitable for all breeds?
Yes. Our puppy and dog training classes are suitable for all breeds and crossbreeds. Every dog learns as an individual, so our instructors adapt exercises to suit different personalities, abilities and training goals.
My dog is reactive. Can we still attend classes?
Many reactive dogs can benefit from training, although the most appropriate starting point will depend on your dog’s individual needs. In some cases, one to one training may be recommended instead of a group class. If you’re unsure, please get in touch and we’ll help you choose the most suitable option.
