Where is Kemble’s Field?
We’re based on Ryden Lane, Charlton, near Pershore in Worcestershire, making us easily accessible from across the Midlands and beyond.
Can I hire the field to exercise my dog?
No. Kemble’s Field is a specialist dog training venue, and our outdoor facilities are available for structured training rather than general exercise. Whether you’re working on recall, retrieving, water work or everyday training, our facilities are designed to help you get the most from your session.
Is the training field completely secure?
The outdoor training area is enclosed with stock fencing, but we cannot guarantee that it is escape proof. Owners are responsible for deciding whether the environment is suitable for their individual dog and should supervise their dog at all times while using the facilities.
Can I hire the venue for commercial use?
Yes. We welcome commercial bookings from trainers, behaviourists, clubs and other canine professionals. Special rates are available for full day commercial hire. If you’re planning a larger event or regular bookings, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Will I have exclusive use of the venue?
Field hire gives you exclusive use of the outdoor training facilities for the duration of your booking. If you hire the barn, you’ll also have exclusive access to both the indoor and outdoor training facilities, allowing you to make full use of the venue throughout your session.
Is Kemble’s Field suitable for reactive dogs?
This will depend on the type of booking and your dog’s individual needs. Please get in touch before booking so we can help you choose the most appropriate option and ensure the venue is suitable for your training goals.
What facilities are available?
Kemble’s Field offers both indoor and outdoor training facilities, including a five acre training field, retrieving lanes, a water training pond, cover crops, a heated barn, classroom, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, toilets, shower facilities and ample parking.
Do you have facilities for water training?
Yes. Our outdoor training area includes a large pond with a variety of entry points, making it suitable for a range of water training exercises.
Can I hire the barn without the outdoor facilities?
No. Hire of our indoor facilities includes access to the outdoor training areas, giving you exclusive use of the venue throughout your booking. This allows you to combine practical outdoor training with indoor teaching, presentations or classroom sessions without needing to book separate facilities.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is ample hard standing parking adjacent to the venue, with additional overflow parking available by arrangement for larger events.
How many dogs can attend?
We offer a range of hire options depending on the number of dogs and handlers attending. Whether you’re training on your own or organising a larger group session, you’ll be able to choose the most appropriate booking option.
